Bioreactor Basics
A bioreactor is a laboratory device that mimics and recreates important features and characteristics that the organ or tissue of interest would be exposed to in the body. In essence, the bioreactor is used to mature or develop a tissue outside the human body, for subsequent implantation. More >>>

Our Technology
Our technology is leading the way for advances in accelerated tissue formation and maturation; replacement and repair of organs and tissues due to age, disease, inflammation, congenital or acquired conditions and traumatic injury; research into the physiology and function of developing human tissue; and advanced pre-clinical screening for therapeutic development.
Our bioreactors also grow vessels to be used in coronary and peripheral vascular grafts. There is a clear need for these blood vessels as cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, claiming almost 900,000 lives annually. More >>>
About CBDI
Creative Bioreactor Designs, Inc. (CBDI) is dedicated to developing and producing bioreactors to meet the rising need in the medical and scientific communities. Conservative estimates place the worldwide market for regenerative medicine at $500 billion by the year 2010. For the potential of regenerative medicine to be fully realized, manufacturing equipment and techniques to grow tissues and organs must be developed and delivered to the marketplace. More >>>
